BELLA WAGNER
The Viennese Singer/Songwriter is rumored to be one of the hottest,
hippest female voices of the decade. An extremely expressive and emotional voice
that captivates the listener from the very first moment, an amazing stage
presence that immediately draws the attention of the audience, the passion to
always look for new challenges - these are precisely the things that characterize
Bella Wagner who started her musical career as backing singer for Austrian popstar Falco
at the age of 17.
Bella Wagner was born in Vienna and she is fluent in five languages.
Her father originates from a Croatian island and her mother is from Slovakia.
The Beginning of her musical career: piano lessons when she was only six years of age.
In 2006 Bella Wagner started her solo project with fellow musician and
producer Oliver Werbach and soon released her first album “That’s what I like”
which contains seven unique interpretations of all time classics like Screamin’
Jay Hawkins´ ”I Put A Spell On You“, Bob Dylan‘s “Baby Blue“ or Nina Simone‘s
“Love Me Or Leave Me“. In July 2009 she presented her debut album at legendary
Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and shortly after she won Austrian Newcomer Award 2010.
Bella Wagner is a versatile vocalist conveying her message without boundaries.
She frequently teams up with musicians and producers from all across
Europe for feature productions. Her second album “Featuring Bella Wagner”
(2010) is a comprehensive collection of her best featuring songs.
Songs in various genres such as Electro Pop, Soul, Funk, Bossa or Fusion
with one singer upfront, Bella Wagner.
Bella Wagner is now preparing her new album, a powerful crossover of
Electro, Pop and Soul where she seeks to express herself by
turning her feelings into sound and giving listeners access to her
innermost thoughts. She shows her talents as a dancer and choreographer
supported by a great team, friends and sponsors.
